My decision to become a Certified Personal Trainer came as my interest in
fitness and feeling good grew out of my own life experiences.  I have always
been a “fit” person as I have been a professional ballet dancer and instructor for
many years.  I currently have all ages and levels of students in ballet, modern
dance and praise dance (combination of techniques).  I direct and dance with The
Beautiful Feet Dance Ministry.  Jesus is my Lord and Savior since 1980!

I have spent many years studying how the body works in order to assist my
students and am accustomed to working with each individual’s strengths and
weaknesses.  Choreography is like breathing to me!  I have choreographed
hundreds of dances.  I have taught aerobics and have done strength training
seriously.

Several years ago, through ignorance and bad choices, I went through a period
of depression.  After trying all kinds of medications, I decided to go another
route.  After much prayer, I began a quest to feel good and studied and
developed an exercise program for myself that took care of that problem!
Hallelujah!  My heart goes out to people who are overweight, tired and
depressed like I was,  I want to help them to look, feel and BE their absolute
best.  Hence
Beautiful Bodies Fitness was born.

Training that I offer goes beyond merely physical.  We are triune beings (body,
mind and spirit) and each part of us affects the other two parts.  All three parts
work together and a problem in one will create problems in another.  For
example, mental stress may cause a headache!  We all know about that one!  As
an IPT I address the complete person.  Additionally I am on staff at The Lamse
Wellness Clinic where I consult with Dr. Anca Lamse regarding the needs of my
clients.

My certification as a Personal Trainer is with AFTA (American Fitness Training of
Athletics). I am also a Certified Pilates Instructor with AMFPT. (American Muscle
and Fitness Personal Training.)  I have completed CPR and Basic First Aid
Training.

Beautiful Bodies Fitness is a member of the Better Business Bureau.
